Been a patron of the snake for 21 years ! Unbelievable location with ski in ski out to Jackson hole. World class comfort and amenities and a special shoutout to the kitchen for doing such a 5 star job. Cleanest and most spacious rooms with a legendary hot tub and spa. “Snake boys for life”.
1) Location is very good - walk to Bridger Gondola etc.
2)Also, before arriving, they cancelled my reservation without a reason - and without even notifying me. We only luckily found out because we called for another reason. Could have been a disaster.
3) After cancelling reservation for no reason, they forgot about another critical step: to send a refund for the room.
3) Got overcharged by around $750. Hours spent dealing with front desk, credit card company, and trying to correct billing errors (as seen in other reviews) .
3) Also, difficult to reach the manager(s), and they do not call back as promised - leading to more of #3 above.
4) Keep in mind "Superior" or "Deluxe Two Queens" room is tight, as mentioned in other reviews - not much room to open suitcase, etc.
I asked for some comp/discount for my troubles, but they seemed to think all of the above is pretty normal and acceptable.
I would suggest staying somewhere else.

October 14, 2023. My wife and I stayed 8-nights at the Snake River Resort and Spa at Teton Village in Jackson Hole WY. The staff were amazing. Ms Campbell the Operations Manager was very gracious in helping us change rooms to better meet our needs. Matthew who worked the front desk was always friendly and very helpful throughout our extended stay. David served as the Valet and shared his local knowledge about the area attractions in Tetons National Park and Yellowstone. Our experience with the staff made a real difference in our overall vacation. It’s great to come across good people who are great at their jobs, which isn’t always the case when you travel. I look forward to returning.

Rooms are small with dated accoutrement. Service was lacking, if I’m paying full price I expect everything to be open as stated on the website. When this is brought up, I expect a manager to address it satisfactorily. The location is stunning, but in the late summer, Jackson proper might be a better spot. The heated pool area was nice, swimming outdoors in the snow is magical. Overall for a four star hotel, it was lacking. It’s a three star hotel with the potential for a fourth.
Our law firm stayed at the Snake River Lodge Dec. 8-10, 2023 on a company trip. We absolutely loved the hotel and their staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeting so warmly by the staff and it felt very genuine. The staff are very sweet people. They accommodated us exceptionally well. The hotel ambience was a traditional lodge-style which we loved! It felt like a cozy cabin. We stayed in the standard king-size bed rooms and they were very spacious! Also very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms also have shared balconies with nice views. I didn't have any of the food at the hotel, so I can't attest to that. I would recommend staying here, and I would definitely stay here again!
